Why Choose This Run Walk?

Forest Grove Lions are proud of our partnership with Pacific University College of Optometry and School of Audiology, and the excellent and compassionate care its students and staff provide to improve the eyesight of many vision-impaired adults and children in western Washington County.

We are committed to help meet the needs of underserved people in our neighborhoods, city and beyond. 100% of monies raised by this event are returned to the community to fund scholarships for optometry and audiology students, purchase needed clinic equipment and assist operations of the Pacific University AMIGOS program of volunteer optometric services. Your participation in this event helps us serve our neighbors in need in Forest Grove and beyond.

Who are Forest Grove Lions?

We’re a group of your community-minded neighbors dedicated to helping others in need and making our neighborhoods and the world a better place to live.

Our members are men and women of varied occupations, interests, skills, and ages. Our diversity gives the club a wealth of experience and knowledge with which to develop community programs.

Our primary goal is community service, but we have a lot of fun, too! Member interaction in our social activities, fundraising projects, and most of all, service events adds to the pleasure we derive from our local Lions Club.
