Register Online by 10/20/2022!
Online registration fees for the run or walk are as follows: $35 for the 5k, $40 for the 10k, and $45 for the 10 miler. Students will have a reduced price until registration is closed. There is no transaction fee for registering online.
Register by October 20, 2022 by 11:59pm.
Registration fees includes a commemorative, long sleeve, racer mesh t-shirt and personalized chipped bib if registered by 11:59pm on October 12th.
T-Shirts
Commemorative, long sleeve, racer mesh t-shirts are guaranteed to participants registered by 11:59pm on October 12th only.

Insurance
Race events are insured and sanctioned through Lions Clubs International. Each participant must submit an event-specific participant waiver and release of liability form with the registration application. For your convenience, these forms are embedded in the online registration application.

Timing, Awards and Prizes
Awards will be presented after the race at 11:30 a.m. Winners of each category will also be announced on the website on October 22nd.
Virtual runners will not be timed or included in race standings. It is a fun run on your own! Always put the FUN

Pre-Race Packets and Start Times
There is still pre-race packet pick up! Stop by to grab your t-shirt and other race necessities.
Fri, Oct. 21st from 3-6pm in front of College of Optometry, 2221 Pacific AVE Forest Grove OR 97116.
Race Start Times:
In person race will begin at 9:30 (10-miler), 10 (10k), or 10:30 a.m. (5k).
Water, First Aid, Restrooms, etc.
No restrooms on the 5k course.
Water and restrooms available to everyone after the race. Forest Grove Fire and Rescue and Forest Grove Police will be on site for First Aid and Emergency.

Participation Requirements
At the time of registration, you must:

be 18 years of age or older; or if you are under 18, you must obtain parental permission before participating in the event.

agree to and sign a waiver of release of liability; if you are a minor, your parent or guardian must sign on your behalf.

be medically and physically able to perform in the event and be properly trained.

agree to abide by all rules and/or instructions relating to the event that may be communicated before the beginning of the race.
Route Markings & Course Etiquette
Signs and volunteers to direct participants will be at intersections along each route, and mile/km markings will be posted.

Optional Donation Opportunity
If you wish to make an extra donation to Forest Grove Lions sight improvement programs, you can do so during your race registration. If you don’t wish to run or walk in the race, you can donate directly by check to Forest Grove Lions. Please note your check: Run/Walk for Sight fund. Thanks for your generosity!
We will also be collecting Glasses and Hearing Aides for the Lions sight and Hearing foundation.
